In 2020 it also became the stage for the <strong>Ice Swimming World Championships<\/strong>: athletes from all over the world, a pool set up in the lake and water close to zero.<\/p><p><strong>Christof Wandratsch<\/strong> and <strong>Alisa Fatum<\/strong> swam for Addicted To Nature. With him we also lived one of our craziest adventures: <a href=\"\/en\/swimming-10-km-without-training\/\">swimming 10 km in the open sea from Finale di Pollina to Cefal\u00f9<\/a>. Alisa Fatum is part of the ice swimming community we meet at races every winter \u2013 and who inspire us every time.<\/p><h2>What an ice swimming race is like<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Water below 5 \u00b0C<\/strong>: the limit for a race to count as ice swimming.<\/li><li><strong>Short and long distances<\/strong>: from 50 metres up to a kilometre for the best prepared.<\/li><li><strong>Swimsuit, cap and goggles<\/strong>: no wetsuit.
