Plastic fish:
our story starts here
Plastic fish:
our story starts here
Addicted To Nature was born one summer day a few years ago...
We were diving in the clear Sicilian sea, intending to take some photos.
On the backdrop, many swaying figures. They looked like fish...
We approached, realising - with enormous disappointment - that it was plastic bags.
There were hundreds of them, mingling with thousands of other small plastic fragments. Each one of these became, right before our eyes, the food of the unsuspecting and blameless fish.
That terrible vision motivated us...
For days we tried to clean up the seabed, but every morning it would fill up with new rubbish: an endless, meaningless nightmare.
As noble as our intentions were, we realised that we had to change our approach: not dealing with the consequences, but finding a definitive solution to the causes.

Addicted lifestyle: living to the full, leaving no trace
Addicted lifestyle:
living to the full, leaving no trace
Snorkelling on the coral reef and filling the water with air bubbles.
Running a cross-country race in the mountains and leave a footprint in the mud.
Climbing a glacier and trampling the soft snow.
Nothing else.
We are all entitled to experience Nature, but we must not leave obvious traces of our passage.
And this is not only about dropping litter, but also about a style that all of us addicts pursue with conviction...
We believe
in the reconnection
with Nature
In our opinion, the relationship with Nature is a continuous exchange: We give back what we receivebut, in the meantime, we find ourselves.
We believe
in sustainability
(in all its forms)
True joy is only that which is shared; living sustainably not only enriches us, but also those around us, for a more serene and balanced.
We believe
in collective activism
All together, through the sum of many small actions, we can generate a environmental and social impact huge.
We believe
in handicrafts
Choosing products from local businesses combats waste and consumption of the mass production, guarantees high quality and raises the small and medium-sized enterprises.
